Course commences: 13 January Time commitment: 10-15 hours over six weeks
Suitable for P2, P3 and P4 teachers. Book Discovery+ Learning for Sustainability is a new online course that covers three key themes: Global Citizenship, Sustainable Development Education and Outdoor Learning. This course will explore these topics in a greater depth than our free Book Discovery sessions as well as offering a variety of additional resources to support delivery of Learning for Sustainability across the curriculum in your classroom in line with key policy from Education Scotland.

Sequence plans and printable activity sheets on each theme
A learning resource of adaptable learning activities for each theme
Peer-to-peer support that you can use to enhance your own knowledge of contemporary children’s books and how to use them in the classroom
Access to all course material via our learning management system for six months
We will award a certificate which recognises the professional learning you have undertaken. This can be used as evidence in the PRD process.
Each unit will have its own live session:
Unit 1:Global citizenship Wednesday 22 January - 4-5.30pm
Unit 2: Sustainable Development Education Wednesday 29 January - 4-5.30pm
Unit 3: Outdoor learning Wednesday 5 February - 4-5.30pm
Requirements These professional learning sessions will be delivered using Microsoft Teams.

Can I pay by invoice? Although we prefer to have payment by credit card, we can arrange to send you an invoice for your chosen organisation to pay. This invoice must be paid immediately.
Your place on the course will only be reserved once payment has been received. Please complete the information required and allow 3-5 days to receive an invoice.
