Webinar - Play and Joy – Essentials for life
Webinar - Play and Joy – Essentials for life
Expert Webinar led by Ben Kingston-Hughes
Wednesday 16 September 3-4pm
This webinar will be recorded. If you are unable to attend on the scheduled date and time, all ticket holders will receive access to the recording.
Play is the single most important developmental process in any child’s life, and we restrict it at our peril. Play is fundamental to the physical, cognitive, emotional and neurological development of children, as well as underpinning all other aspects of learning.
This thought-provoking and entertaining webinar highlights the exceptional power of play to shape and ultimately change children’s lives. It explores the unique power of play to inspire joy in our children and shows how this can profoundly impact on our children’s well-being and support even our most vulnerable children to thrive.
In a world which seeks to take joy away from children, Ben Kingston-Hughes makes a compelling argument that, far from an optional extra, Play and Joy are essential and lifechanging processes which every single child needs and has a fundamental right to experience.
