This self paced course guides you through observing, reflecting, and exploring how physical and mobility needs can influence participation in early years settings.
Youâll learn to identify barriers and discover practical ways to adapt environments, routines, and interactions so that every child can experience confidence, independence, and full involvement. Through the use of stories, songs, and rhymes, youâll explore simple yet powerful strategies to support, encourage, and enable all children to thrive.
The online course give you control and flexibility over your learning as you work through the content at your own pace. Designed to be engaging and interactive, you can study where and when itâs most convenient, fitting your learning around work, family or other commitments.
This online course should take approximately 2 hours to complete.
Learning Objectives
- Build understanding on physical and mobility needs and recognising barriers to participation
- Discover practical ways to enable participation for all by implementing inclusive strategies (such as adapted movements, use of props and assistive resources and adult support)
- Recognise the role that songs and rhymes have on fine and gross motor skills
Audience
This course is aimed at anyone involved with young children, either practitioners or school teachers.
