Jack bravely climbs up, to find himself in the castle of an unfriendly giant who cries, “Fee-fi-fo-fum! I smell the blood of an Englishman!” Published in 1890, Joseph Jacobs’ version of this magical English fairy tale, featuring a golden goose, a magic harp and a giant ogre, continues to entertain children to this day.
